Activate Your Team, Build Reliability, and Actualize Your Strategy.

Managing organizational growth is becoming more complex. Leaders are charged with growing the business of today—and tomorrow—in conditions where tomorrow is increasingly uncertain. Developing people at an appropriate pace requires intentional design of the social and technical aspects of an organization. With Intentional Organization Design, you can discover the power of leadership, teams, and operational efforts to develop new, innovative ideas and create positive, impactful change.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the behaviors, mindsets and skill sets of intentional leaders and develop the self as an agent for change
  • Develop and communicate vision to create shared purpose within your organization
  • Practice elements of effective team dynamics that surface aptitudes and ideas
  • Deconstruct cognitive biases, data, and decision making
  • Explicitly design an operating model to support a strategy that integrates present and future challenges

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

LEARNING SCHEDULE

Mon-Fri 8:30AM – 4:30PM ET

The Intentional Organization Design course is highly interactive and based on experiential learning and collaboration. Successful organizations must become increasingly agile as the pace of change in the business environment accelerates. This course is based on the principles of systems thinking and includes the connections between structures, behaviors, process, and technology. By reframing the role of the leader to that of a coach, Intentional Organization Design operationalizes these principles through mindsets, skill sets, and tool sets. The course:

  • Incorporates concepts from participatory design, appreciative inquiry, and human centered decision making
  • Balances the social and technical aspects of an organization
  • Prioritizes mindfulness and perspective in strategy to create emerging opportunities

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Is your team or organization falling short of their potential due to lack of alignment and siloed activities? This course is for established and emerging leaders ready to drive innovation, collaboration, and change by bridging strategy and operational execution.
