MODULE

Law, Policy, and Regulation focuses on the potential that new mobility systems have to transform the way people and goods move about, creating significant legal, regulatory, and policy issues. This module covers everything from the current structure of mobility law to broader societal issues such as transportation priorities, data use, and equity. You will learn about local, state, and federal laws impacting mobility, along with the evolving regulations around new technologies like connected vehicles and ride-sharing apps.

  • You will have access to the Law, Policy, and Regulation module for 60 days.
  • This module contains 6-7 hours of required recorded material and an associated testing assessment.
  • The module also includes supplemental reading material to bolster your knowledge.

You must successfully complete the module topics, readings, and testing assessment with an 80% pass rate to earn a digital badge for the Law, Policy, and Regulation module.

To earn a Certificate in Foundations of Mobility, consider enrolling in our 15-week courses: Course I: Mobility Behavior & Technology and Course II: Mobility System Design, Finance & Regulation.

There are no prerequisites for the Law, Policy, and Regulation module.
